What to know about this Elmer’s White Liquid School Glue 1 Gallon

This is the big one: a full 1-gallon (128 fl oz) jug of Elmer’s Washable School Glue, the #1 teacher brand. One jug covers classroom projects, craft cupboards and weeks of making, where small bottles would run out fast.

The formula is the classic Elmer’s white glue: safe, washable and non-toxic, with a no-run consistency that stays where you put it. It is adjustable before it sets and dries clear in about an hour, and it bonds paper, wood, fabric, ceramics and pottery.

It is also a slime-maker’s staple. The smooth white glue is made for slime at home or in the classroom, and a gallon stretches to batch after batch — handy when a whole class wants to join in.

Pros

• A huge 1-gallon (128 fl oz) jug, so classrooms and frequent crafters are not constantly buying small bottles.
• Washable, non-toxic, no-run formula that is adjustable before setting and dries clear.
• Genuinely versatile: bonds paper, wood, fabric, ceramics and pottery, and doubles as a slime base.

Cons

• A gallon jug is heavy and bulky to store and pour, so it suits a classroom or craft cupboard better than a small desk drawer.

Buy it if: you run a classroom, craft often, or make slime in bulk and want one big, dependable jug.

Skip it if: you only need glue now and then, or you want a small, squeezable bottle for little hands.
