What to know about this Learning Resources Botley 2.0 Coding Robot
Botley is real first coding: a child builds sequences, tries loops and uses object detection, all with no screen in sight.
Sequences of up to 150 steps grow with the child, and the 40 coding cards give plenty of starting challenges.
One thing to be clear about: it needs 5 AAA batteries that are not included, so buy them with the gift, or Christmas morning stalls.
